Knitted box with strawberries. Crochet box, master class Crochet box pattern with patterns

6.A small bright box crocheted from Iris yarn will be a wonderful surprise and gift for a little princess. Product height 5.5 cm, diameter 8 cm.

What you need

“Iris” red, white, yellow, green, pink, a little filler for berries, 16 bright red beads, base for adhesive tape, a sheet of thick cardboard, Moment Crystal glue, crochet number 1,2.

How to knit a box

Forming the base of the box

1. The basis for the future box will be a simple cardboard left over from transparent or paper tape.

2.On a sheet of thick cardboard from any box you need to make two identical circles, simply by circling the base circle.

3.The next stage is cutting. These two circles will become the bottom and lid of the box.

4. Moment Crystal glue is best suited for attaching parts. It smells unpleasant, but does not leave marks on materials or hands.

5.First you need to smear the base and the cardboard bottom with glue and fasten it together.

6.The base is almost ready.

7.To keep the bottom better, it can be strengthened with pieces of paper tape.

Knitting the bottom and outer side of the box

Now you can move on to knitting the parts. The outer, inner bottom, as well as both sides of the lid are made according to the following pattern, which increases.

1. First of all, a sliding loop is made: three air loops are cast on and eight single crochets are made in the very first one. They are closed in a ring and tied with seventeen double crochets.

2. Without deviating from the pattern, six rows are knitted.

3-4. Having completed the seventh row (from single crochets), you can move on to the walls of the box. To do this, the columns of the next row are knitted not on the outer, but on the inner sides of the base loops, so that a kind of fold line is obtained.

5-6.The height of the box is seven rows of double crochets.

Knitting the inside of the box

1.The next row will bend inward, so it should be knitted on the inside of the base columns.

2.At this stage, the knitting can already be attached to the base of the box. To do this, the bottom and walls are carefully coated with glue.

3. The knitted fabric is placed on the cardboard and straightened out.

4.The next row is made with white yarn.

5. You need to knit five rows with double crochets and one with single crochet.

6.The inside of the box is coated with glue, folded tightly, straightened and glued.

7.You can proceed to making the inner bottom. It is knitted in exactly the same way as the outer one, only from white “Iris”.

8.The finished circle is glued into the box. That's it, the product body is ready.

We knit the lid of the box

1.Now you can start working on the lid. To do this, knit a circle from pink yarn according to the above pattern.

2.The second circle, for the outer part of the lid, is slightly different from the first. At first everything is done according to the scheme.

3-4-5. The seventh row consists of single crochets and is knitted using the inner loops of the base.

Preparing a leaf to decorate the box

Now you need to put the lid aside and start finishing. The top of the box is crowned with a bouquet of leaves, strawberries and one flower. The leaves are made according to this scheme:

You will need three such leaves.

Knitting berries

1-2. Berries are knitted very simply: six single crochets are made in a sliding loop, closed in a ring. The next row consists of 12 loops, the third - of 15. The fourth row repeats the previous one, in the fifth there are again six stitches.

3-4. Now we take the filler and stuff the berry quite tightly.

5.Knitting is closed. Almost ready strawberries.

6.The second berry is performed in exactly the same way. Lastly, they need to be decorated with white stitches.

There is only a small detail left: a stem is knitted for both berries. To do this, cast on 4 air loops, connect them into a ring, and tie them with eight single crochets. The next row already consists of 13 columns. In the fourth row, “tails” are knitted: three air loops, a fourth for lifting, tying with three loops. This is what should happen. A leg of eight air loops is tied to the outside. The resulting “hat” is sewn onto the berry.

The strawberry flower must be knitted according to the following pattern:

The core will be yellow, the petals will be white.

Assembling the box

When all the elements are completed, you can begin finishing the lid. First, the berry is attached to the center, then one leaf is sewn, then the second. Now the second berry is attached, a leaf is placed on top. The bouquet is crowned with a strawberry flower.

Now you need to glue the outside onto the lid of the box. Then glue is applied to the inside. All that remains is to take a needle and carefully sew both parts together with pink yarn.

The box is also decorated with simple lace made of white yarn and red beads. It is performed according to the following scheme:

1. First, beads are collected onto the thread.

2.Now the decoration is done according to the diagram. To add beads, you need to bring one to the hook before making the fifth chain loop.

3. The bead is obtained in the center of the base of the future “fan”.

4-5.Now you need to knit three lifting air loops, a picot of three loops closed in a ring, and insert the hook into the base to make a double crochet.

6. Finished lace element.

7-8.Now it should be connected into a ring to make it easier to attach to the box.

The lace can be placed in the center or slightly higher. The tails are glued to the box using Moment drops. Then, using a needle and white thread, the base of the lace is sewn on.

Sew the lid to the body. The product will not have any lock, because it is simply not needed here: the lid is quite heavy, it will not be able to lift itself.

The knitted box with strawberries is ready. It will be a wonderful gift for a little girl. You can store bracelets, elastic bands and any little things valuable to your little heart in it.

Diameter 18 cm.

Materials for work.

The box is knitted from Vita Coco yarn 100% mercerized cotton (240 m/50 g), it took approximately 30 g of white and about 10 g of red.

Hook No. 1.5.

The diameter of the box is approximately 18-19 cm, height 5 cm.

First of all, decide on the shape on which you will stretch the box. My form was an ordinary kitchen saucepan.

We'll start by knitting the lid.

Row 6:

Our lid is ready.

Let's start knitting the bottom; it should be slightly smaller in diameter than the lid.

We will knit according to this pattern:

9 row: 3 in. p., art. s/n in the same base loop, 7 tbsp. s/n, *increase (2 tbsp. s/n in one loop), 7 tbsp. s/n*, repeat from * to the end of the row, finish the row with the connection. Art.

10 row: 3 in. p., art. s/n in the same base loop, 8 tbsp. s/n, *increase (2 tbsp. s/n in one loop), 8 tbsp. s/n*, repeat from * to the end of the row, finish the row with the connection. Art.

11th row: 3 in. p., art. s/n in the same base loop, 9 tbsp. s/n, *increase (2 tbsp. s/n in one loop), 9 tbsp. s/n*, repeat from * to the end of the row, finish the row with the connection. Art.

12 row: 3 in. p., art. s/n in the same base loop, 10 tbsp. s/n, *increase (2 tbsp. s/n in one loop), 10 tbsp. s/n*, repeat from * to the end of the row, finish the row with the connection. Art.

The bottom is ready.

We starch the finished box heavily. The lid can be pulled onto the same mold as the bottom, having previously wrapped the edges of the mold (for example, with corrugated cardboard) in order to increase its diameter. After the box has dried, you can decorate it as you wish.

I starched about 1.5 tablespoons of starch per glass of water.
Here are some more tips from the Internet: you can starch using PVA, dilute it 1:1 with water, soak it in glue, squeeze it out, put it on the mold. It turns out to be a very dense box.

It is even more convenient if it is divided into sections, where you can store different types of them separately - earrings with earrings, beads with beads, rings with rings. But sometimes there are so many of them that you simply cannot do without an additional box. This is especially true for small jewelry (rings, earrings), which often like to get lost among other jewelry. Prepared a master class on knitting.

Crochet box “Apple”

For knitting box “Apple” we need:
1) Yarn of medium thickness green;
2) Dark green “Iris” yarn;
3) Hook No. 1;
4) Yarn “Denim” black;
5) Needle and thread;
6) Scissors.

We put a chain of 4 air loops on the hook using light green yarn. We knit the first and second rows with single crochets, and in each loop of the previous row we knit one increase, that is, in one loop there should be two single crochets.

We also knit the next rows with single crochets, but we no longer make additions in every loop. With each row we increase the gap between additions; the further the row, the larger the gap. For example, in the third row we knit the increase through 2 loops, in the fourth - through four and so on. We knit another 3-4 rows in this way.

After we have knitted these rows, we stop making decreases and just knit one row with single crochets. This will allow the knitting to curl slightly at the edges and gradually take on the shape of a ball.

Then we continue to knit single crochets in a circle, making 2 additions in each row so that the knitting expands upward. We knit 4-5 rows like this. The result will be a product that resembles a bowl.

We knit 2 of these “bowls”. Their diameters must match.

Now we apply two apple parts so that their wrong sides are facing each other and knit 5 single crochets along their edges, knitting these parts together.

As a result, you will get a ball like this.

Now we cut a thread about 0.3 meters long from a ball of black “Jeans” yarn and fasten it to the wrong side of the upper part of the apple. We pull the thread to the front side in the center of the part. We knit 10-12 chain stitches.

Along the knitted chain we knit 10-12 single crochets.

We secure the “cutting” of the apple to the top by pulling the remaining yarn to the wrong side and tying a knot.

To knit a petal, fold the “Iris” yarn in half and then knit 13 air loops.

We knit the first side of the leaf according to the following pattern: 1 connecting stitch, 2 single crochets, 2 double crochets, 3 double crochets, 2 double crochets, 2 single crochets, 1 connecting stitch.

Next, we move to the opposite side of the chain, knitting 3 single crochets at the end into one loop, and then on this side we knit the second part of the leaf in the same way. At the end, we pull out the thread and hide it on the wrong side of the leaf.

Sew the leaf to the cutting. The knitted jewelry box is ready.

You will need

  • Leftover yarn
  • Hook according to yarn thickness
  • Wire
  • Soldering iron
  • Remnants of skin
  • Beads
  • Square
  • Metal scissors

Instructions

Make a frame. Bend the wire into a rectangle of the required length and width. Solder the ends. Make 3 more of these rectangles. 2 of them will go to, the other 2 - to the lid. Cut 4 pieces of wire equal to the height and 4 more equal to the height of the lid. Solder the edges of the box to the corners of one of the rectangles so that they are perpendicular to the base. Solder the second rectangle on top. Make the frame of the lid in the same way.

Start knitting the box from the bottom base. For a rectangular box, knit a chain of chain stitches equal to the width of the base. Make 2 loops on the rise, turn the work over and knit a row with single crochets. It is generally better to knit the lower base completely with such columns, since it is the densest. For the surface of the lid, which is knitted according to the same principle, you can choose a different knitting pattern. The openwork knitted cover looks great, through which the silk lining of a contrasting color is visible.

For the sides you will need 4 rectangles. The height is the same for everyone and is equal to the height of the box. The length of two rectangles is equal to the length of the box, and the length of the other two is equal to its width. The sides can also be completely knitted with single crochets. Tie the sides of the lid in the same way.

Start fastening the parts from the top of the sides. Tie the top edge of each side piece to the top rails of the frame. Secure the thread, then attach the rectangle to the corresponding frame wire. Insert the hook from the wrong side under the first column of the last row, pull the working thread inside out to make a loop, grab the thread above the wire and pull it into the loop. Thus, tie the part to the second corner of the frame. Without breaking the thread, tie the next part and the rest.

Tie the side seams. Start fastening the parts from the top. Fasten the thread. Insert the hook from the side of one of the parts, first inside out, then through the other part again to the front side. Grab the working thread, pull it through both pieces, grab the thread on top of the wire, pull it through the loop and tighten. Make sure the loops are not too tight. In this way, tie all the parts of the box itself and the lid.

Tie the bottom base. Attach it in the same way as you fastened the side panel parts together. The knitting should be very even. To fasten the parts, you can use yarn of a contrasting color or thicker.

If necessary, decorate the box. You can also attach a cover. This can be done in different ways - for example, if there is a plastic spring from a common notebook or a hinge from the door of a small cabinet. The loop can simply be sewn on. Pull the spring through one side of the lid and the corresponding side of the box. It could be a long spring or one or two short ones. It is better to stretch the short one in the center.

Easter egg on a knitted stand

Easter egg on a knitted stand

I always looked at the works of decoupage craftswomen with delight - boxes, boards, vases. Easter eggs are also decorated using the decoupage technique.
I read what was needed for this (special primers, paints, varnishes), and decided to try to make something like decoupage from scrap materials, without special tools. Let the real masters forgive me, but I will share the result :)
I decided to make an egg stand at the same time. I like to crochet small things, so the stand will be crocheted.
First you need to blow out the egg. Be sure to wash it thoroughly first. Using a large nail, carefully make holes at both ends, pierce the yolk and blow out the contents. The larger the holes, the easier it is to blow.
The hole in the sharp end of the egg should be small, but in the blunt end you can make a larger one and blow through it. Rinse the inside of the egg with water and leave to dry.
For now let's take care of the stand. Any pattern can be used. Simple meshes made from chains of air loops look great. Knitted with iris. I started with a chain of 2 chs, knitted 12 single crochets into the first one, then knitted according to this pattern, only the fragment highlighted in red.
You can periodically try it on the egg to guess the desired shape.
I tied a frill along the edge of the stand.
Now you need to tie a support to the bottom. In the circle, where there were 12 single crochets, I knitted a row of single crochets and a row of single crochets. The number of columns is determined by eye, so that there is dense support.

Starch the stand. 1/2 tsp. dilute starch in 2 tbsp. cold water, bring to a boil, dip the product in the solution and dry. I used this simple design from a glass and an egg, carefully straightening out all the lace.

To decorate the egg, I took these ordinary napkins.

Cut out individual fragments. The napkins are three-layer, we only need the top layer with a pattern.

In a small container I diluted PVA with water 1:1. Using a kitchen sponge, I carefully glued the pieces of napkin to the egg.

You can first coat the desired area of the egg with glue and apply a napkin. But the napkins instantly become limp, so you need to immediately apply them exactly to the right place.

It seemed to me that it was more convenient to place a napkin on a dry egg and apply glue on top, which immediately saturates the thin paper. Instead of a sponge, you can use a soft brush.

When all the drawings are glued, leave the egg for 2-3 hours to dry.

Cover the dried egg with a thick layer of colorless nail polish. Leave until completely dry. I think if you use a clear polish with glitter it will look nice too.

We thread a ribbon into the stand and tie it with a bow. We carefully singe the edges with a match. The ribbon not only serves as decoration, but also additionally supports the egg if it is slightly smaller than the stand. It can be tightened tighter or looser.

I glued a bead to the top of the egg to cover the hole through which I blew the contents of the egg.

Place the egg into the stand. Ready!

This stand can also be used for regular colored eggs. It will look very nice if you knit 5-6 white coasters and choose ribbons to match the eggs that will be in them.
